Though T20 might be the future of cricket.....It is becoming a overdose now a days....started with ICL...IPL....Champions League, ICC 20/20 Too many teams....too many matches..There should be another way....

Roger vs Rafa

I am forced to to write this blog after reading many critics ....regarding who is best, legend, all timer...etc.etc...

• 10 consecutive Finals
• 23 consecutive Semi Finals
• 26 consecutive Quarters
• No 1 for 285 weeks out of which 237 is consecutive (Interestingly Rafa was behind him for a consecutive 160 weeks)
• 22 major final appearances
• 5 straight US and Wimbledon titles
• consecutive major appearances since 2000

Apart from the above...he has a whole page of achievements in his career

Please do not compare both .....

That said...I am not a fan of Federer...but a fan of good Tennis...No doubt Rafa is a great player and moving towards the legendary status...Will he surpass Federer in Titles....may be YES....will be surpass some records held by Federer ....may be YES...will he win consecutive majors...may be YES....But that doesnt bring down his legendary status what Federer has achieved in his life time...Next generation might bring someone....greater than Roger and Rafa.....whatever they both acheived cannot be compared to other greats ....Rod Laver....Bjorg...Lendl....Sampras...Connors.........
